KOREAN SURPRISE
The delightful and ever generous AM has sent me this awesome package ALLLL the way from Korea.

It's been a long wait, I know, not to worry as I've saved the best for last.
Yes OH yes, a TMIT ALLLL the way from Korea.

Are you ready?

Oh it starts innocently enough.

There is no indication on the outside of this box, of the treasure that is within.

SAKE GLASSES!!
And I'm thrilled, and they're sake glasses, with real Korean writing, ALLLL the way from Korea.
What is this? A leg?
Upon closer inspection I see. . .

A boob?Upon closer inspection I see that these are Kama Sutra Sake Glasses!

I have just one word

AWESOME!!!

I am getting the most mileage out of these. Showing friends and family and letting them 'discover' for themselves.

(I see you Jonsing for my sake glasses Livit. The answer is NO! These came ALLL the way from Korea. TO ME!)

Next time I'm at BevMo I'm picking up some Soju. I will have to tell you my Soju story sometime.

Elvis pumpkin

This is cool.
I would love to do something like this. Then I remember there is an awful lot of work before you can even began the carving process. How long will it take to make a carving like this? Will it be rotten before you finish? And how long will it last? It's really a one night stand so, what do you do with it after? You throw it out or it gets smelly and buggy.

Maybe next year.

Or when I retire.

Or when I've gone completely bonkers.

Pumpkin Squid

This is just wierd. I really can't figure out how they did this. I know it was a lot of work but maybe your time would have been better spent doing something else. Like . . . anything, anything else.

X Pumpkins

I fear this.
I fear that the pumpkins that we have created will come to life and eat my little dog.

Overactive imagination.

Bean Paste Candy
Hopefully I'll get a better picture up by the time this posts.

I know. . Wierd looking isn't it?My first impression was, eeww. Flavor was sweet, good, but the texture took a little getting used to. It reminds me a little of the inside of a jelly bean. Flavor is sweet but has no strong taste to it. Very mild, almost creamy. Youngest? Didn't dig it. Middle wouldn't even try it.AND THE WINNER IS. . . .Jbug! She totally loved it! It reminds her of a candy her mother gets from her home country, Guatamala I think.

Want to see? First the edibles. . . .

This looked very familiar and we opened this first.
The white/green beans look like wasabi peas, but noooo. They are not. The brownish ones are like (or are) Japanese peanuts. I gotten similar ones in those little packages you get at the liquor store. The black ones look a lot like raisens in the package, they are probably black soy beans. There are a few other nuts in here as well, cashews etc.

THESE ARE DELISH and no you can't have any 'cause we et um all ready. They are not sweet, not hot and not salty or oily as some nut mixes can be. AM says they have these out in bowls at resteraunts/bars. YUM!

STAY TUNED FOR MORE KOREAN GOODIES.

Would you love to have this many pumpkins? But I wouldn't want to have to cut them all and scrape them all.
You'd have enough pumpkin seeds for the entire year!
