BH said that he thinks Maya is bored. Hmm, imagine that. He thinks that maybe she would be 'happier' with a friend. I wonder if that means I'll be getting a puggy sometime soon. Truth be told Maya would NOT be happier with a friend. She very much enjoys being an only child. When she lived with Frank and Bosco (pug and lab mix) she bossed everyone around and even though she was considerably smaller then the boys they feared her. (And rightfully so!) Still, if BH thinks she needs a sibling, who am I to argue? Keep your fingers crossed.
After that horrible Babel movie I thought I wouldn't enjoy another movie again. WRONG! Thankfully. We were at BH's son's house and he plugged in Final Cut. Have you seen this movie? Wow! Rent it. Soo good.
It's futuristic. You see, in the future some people will be inserted with chips when they are born. This chip records everything that person see's. Now when that person dies they take the chip and edit it and play it back at a 'Rememory' ceremony. Robin Williams (who is not the least bit funny in this flix) is a 'cutter'. He edits these chips. Lots of twists and turns, good action, fairly clean. Teenagers ok but younguns maybe no.
Then I rented Deju vu and Blood Diamonds. Both excellent.
Deju vu with Denzel Washington is a sci fi type movie with time travel. Which I love love love. It's made well and fun to follow. You can never really expain these types of movies so check it out.
Blood Diamond was very good. It follows three people in Africa. Jennifer Connely, who I love, is a reporter. Leo Dicaprio (is it me or is he gettin wierd looking?) is a diamond smuggler and Djimon Hounsou who is a fisherman. It's a political movie to be sure but it did get me to thinking about diamonds and how they are aquired and why we place so much value in them.

All the Pugs here have their "paws crossed" that a Puggy is in your future!
I havent seen Blood Diamond or Final Cut but will add them to my list!
A puggy???Happy days!! I did see Blood Diamond and I think Leonardo is strange looking, too. It is amazing how they keep the diamonds locked up to keep the prices high.
