New to me anyway. BH and I love to cruse for old books. The Temecula Friends of the Library has a huge bookstore. I always check for cookbooks first. This time I found several that I thought looked interesting enough to buy. Wanna see?
The Coffee Cookbook
This was published in 1964.
Just because it was old I had to have it. And because it was only .50 I didn't even open the cover to see if there was anything interesting in there.
Two Fat Ladies Ride Again.Remember these gals? I loved watching them on Food TV. It was a long time ago. I really loved their show. The book was published in 1997. It is in excellent condition. I wonder if it was ever used. That may not be a good sign. I can't remember making anything they ever cooked. There are some food pictures, some pics of the ladies and some interesting read I think. This cookbook, $3.00.

Butter Busters
This is a low fat cookbook. Published in 1994. No pictures but a lot of information. It has food counts for fat, cholesterol, fiber, calories, protein, carbs and sodium. It is a hefty 500 pages for a whopping $2.00. A good find I think.
Miriam Loo's Budget Cookbook.Published in 1980. Do you remember the Current Catalog of the 80's? I remember where I worked we would pass around the catalog and bring in a huge order every month or so. I bought every cookbook she had then and still have them and use them. They are spiral bound and the recipes are not fancy. She is of Sweedish decent I think and from the midwest. There is a mixture of both kinds of recipes.
This cookbook has been gently used. The pages are in good shape. Favorite recipes are marked by dog eared pages and a little pen mark on the recipe. I'll check those out first. No notes though. That would have been fun. Cost: $1.00.
