The entire wold stinks. It does. I don't know why. I walked into the house yesterday. It smells funny. I went into the bedroom to change. It smells in there. My bathroom, yes, it smells. Every stinkin room stinks. Why? Why?
I quit smoking and everything is suppose to taste better. It doesn't. I just feel the need to eat. A lot. Often. You're sense of smell is suppose to improve. Is that it? Did I not realize how much everything stinks before? No, it doesn't smell like smoke, except in my car. I'll rant on that later. I have never smoked in the house. It just stinks, a little, like old socks or something. I can't identify it. I need to do something about it. I am thinking of mixing some baking soda with some of those carpet cologne powders and sprinkling it on the carpet, maybe some Fabreeze on the furniture. Potpourri is next. In every stinkin room. Maybe a nice vanilla or apple. Maybe something floral. Ooh, maybe something tropical.
And my car! Here's the rant. It totally reeks! OMG! I spent 2 hours the other day cleaning it out. Cleaning the inside windows, dash etc. Getting all the ash out of every little corner. I sprayed it down with fabreeze and it is much better. I could spray it down again and maybe a nice car cologne freshener thing. I hate the little tree thing so I need to find something that will work and not look dorky.
And the diet. Not to bad. I've not lost weight but I haven't gained either. Still if I have to choose between a smoke and a Suzie Q I will risk a few pounds rather than start smoking again.

You are doing so good! Maybe your nose does work better being away from the "fire." My husband smokes outside and then he'll come in and pet the pugs and then I'll pick one of them up and the pug will smell like a cig. I say, "Oh, Chichi, you've been smoking." I think Fabreeze will take care of that smell.
Oh that is so funny. I remember before I smoked my son would love on the dogs and they would smell like smoke. I've only smoked about 4-5 years, this time. I had quit for 16 years. Go figure.
Wow, you quit for 16 years! That's great. I don't know why some things have to be so hard.
Enjoyed a lot! »
