Got some new mascara

Mascara. Never really used it before. My lashes were always thick and long. Ish. Mascara was always more trouble than it's worth. You gotta put it on. Hopefully it will stay on all day. If not you end up looking like Rocky Raccoon by noon. I bought waterproof mascara mostly. It doesn't sweat or wash off but it will flake off if you don't take it off in a timely manor. Which of course, I do not. Using special mascara remover or any make up remover anywhere near my eyes will have me looking bloodshot for days.

And then along came chemo. Totally distroyed my lashes. Oh my eyebrows and every hair on my body and come back. With a vengence. But my eyelashes. Skimpy and short. Hmph!

I've tried a few differnt brands. I hate them all for one reason or another. Wal*mart will refund your money if your not 'completely' satisfied and I always think that I'll return them. And so I put them in my purse, with the receipt, so I'll have it with me when I go to Wally World. And then, six months later, I'll find it at the bottom of my purse.

And I throw it out.

So then I tried L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara. I think I like it. It goes on nice. Washes off easy, and so far, hasn't smudged off.

See! Even WITH this mascara my lashes are puny!

And I think I need some visine.
