Feeling the excitement

ONE MORE DAY AND WE LEAVE FOR UTAH!

I'm getting excited. Very excited. Can. Not. Wait.

I love the planning. I love the packing. I love flying. I love staying in hotels. I'll especially love seeing my son and my soon to be daughter in law for the first time!

I just love it all.

Youngest is going. He's going to be the best man. Which is cool. And special. I love that the boys are so close. All of them. They are just best friends and I'm thrilled to see it. Especially remembering all the fighting when they were younger. All the fighting. Yeah. It's amazing that they are so close.

Middle can't make it. He could of course. He could. But he works part time and goes to school so money is an issue. Taking off from work could cause him to get behind on his payments. I'm ok with it. I wont have to board the dogs.

My folks get to leave tomorrow. Just talked to mom. She is just like me. Excited to pack. Excited to leave. They head to Las Vegas and spend the night. Eat. Gamble a little. Take off for Utah the following morning after breakfast. They worry me when they drive. Dad's getting old. Well he is old. Already there I suppose. His driving. Leaves much to be desired. So I tell them to plug in their phone the minute they get in the car and TURN IT ON! Yes I do have to tell them to turn it on. Because they are quite proud of the fact that they have a cell phone. AND that they have it with them. However, more often than not they have forgotten to turn it on. They are getting better about the phone thing, but still, they need a little improvement in that area. Thankfully dad will not answer or talk on the phone when he is driving. He has no desire to and that's a good thing. He really needs no other distractions.

I'm ready!

Work is slowing down just a tad. Still quite busy but not swamped, or slammed as my girlfriend calls it. I can breathe a little.

Oh and those 5 pounds I wanted to lose for the wedding. They brought reinforcements.

Just how many, I'm not saying.
