and the stockings WERE hung on the banister with care

Were, yes yes yes, were, past tense, they are there no longer, hahahahaaaaha.

Since we have no fireplace I placed the stockings here, on the stairs from hell rail.

I just got this one from my crafty ladies this year.
My mom gave me this one for Maya B.
I made these oh, 2 years ago, maybe 3. Arn't they they coolest! They were a hit with my quilty ladies.
I got this one almost 30 years ago. I worked in a nursing home then and one of the families gave it to me for being so nice to their mom.
We have this huge entry way that was so bare. I put a tiny tree and some Christmas gift boxes with stuffed animals here. That is a musical mouse. No batteries so I don't know what it plays. They Christmas moose. Cute. A little heart pillow that says Christmas is love (I think) The candy stripe bear was given to me by my #1 sons girlfriend (that was in the accident) It's a treasured bear.

Another Christmas moose. I just love moose's, don't you?
Maya B doesn't pay too much attention to the stuffed animals here, she has her quack quack's and that's all she really cares about.

However, I did buy her a clearance stuffed snowman at Staters for .25. She was entranced with it. Took it to her cage. A few hours later we noticed that it had snowed in her cage. I should have took pictures. So much stuffing for such a small snowman.

But Frank, when Frank gets here it will be a different story. He loves toys and will snitch every stuffed anything lying about. #3 son came by yesterday. He's moving stuff in today. Soooooo, Frank will be here by the end of the month!!! Oh yeah, my boys too, but FRANK is coming!!! I'm so excited.
