Peaches the Snow Angel

You really can't see her all that well in this pic. My tree is not quite finished. And at this late date I doubt I will finish it. It needs more stuff on it. More garland. I Picked up 5 strands of silver tipped poinsettia garland and made it 1/2 way around the tree. I'm guessing I needed 5 more strands, maybe more. I've not finished my Christmas shopping yet and when I get out again and there is still more garland there, I'll pick it up. I also wanted to put up more pictures. Oh I should show you some close ups of the pics. I went to a scrapping place and picked up all kinds of cool paper and stickers for the pictures. I had a ton of pics on the tree last year. I know I packed them up. I would have labeled the box for Christmas and yet, mysteriously, I cannot find them.
Here she is, Peaches the Pug Angel. All the way from New York. Thanks to Punchy. I haven't had an angel tree top in a few years. I had an old old old glass top that we had when I was a kid. I absolutely love love love this angel. Ain't she purdy? All bright and silvery?

Is anyone else cold out there? It is quite cold here right now. Some frost has been spotted and there is snow on all nearby mountains. I know I have no busness complaining about the cold when there are horrible ice storms accross the nation, but still, it's cold here. And my office, doesn't heat up. It's a little bitty thing and has the intake for the unit but no vent. Which means I freeze out in the winter and sweat it out in the summer. So to combat this I made these little neck warmers. They're filled with rice and you pop them in the microwave for a minute and they stay warm for a little while. I usually end up sitting on mine much to the amusement of BH who has disgusting things to say about that.

While Punchy was posting her mug a day in November took this picture. These are BH and I's favorite mugs. His is the 2005 Airventure from Oshkosh airshow and mine is from Richies diner. My mug is better because it's thicker and keeps my coffee hotter longer. We have more mugs but we will wash these out everynight (or not) and use them every day. Creatures of habit are we.

I'm look forward to NaPoBloMo but I'm also happy to see it go. I was beginning to feel like Bubba on Forest Gump. Pumpkin cake, pumpkin butter, pumpkin fudge, baked pumpkin, fried pumpkin .. . . . .

and she made it in one piece! Your tree looks nice. I didn;t finish decorating and I am far from finished shopping. I had't realized what a prisoner I would be not driving!
