AND THIS!
And this!
Yes a duck egg. Wanna know how I got it. It's a long story, do you have to be anywhere else right now? No? I didn't think so.
My parents go for walks every day. Sometimes twice a day. They walk their Shi Tzu Charlie at the park. Lately dad has been finding duck and sometimes goose eggs. In the middle of the grass. They go early, everyday so we know these are fresh. And he picks them up, takes them home and eats them. I KNOW! Strange. In case you're sad about the duck population don't worry, these eggs are out in the open, not in a nest and would get broken or stepped on or whatever. No momma is trying to hatch them.

So then a week ago he brings me 6 eggs.
I guess that wasn't such a long story.
Lets see what else can I waste your time with. . . How about a movie review.
Last week we saw 3 movies.
Shrek I and II. Shrek III is out now and I'm gearing up to see it. And I have to prep BH who has seen neither I or II. The Shrek I went badly. BH did not laugh and wondered why he spent more than 5 minutes watching it.
Shrek II was a little better. He laughed and said he liked it better than the first.
I think he's ready for Shrek III.
Then we rented Babel.
Babel because Brad Pitt and Kate Blancett are in it. They are talented and easy on the eyes. Also they can have their pick of scrips so this has to be good right?
WTF! ! !
Has anyone seen this? Liked it? Holy cow! What is this movie about? Anyone know?
The only thread in this story of three families on three continants is a rifle. A rifle given by a Japanese hunter to his Morroccan guide. You don't make the connection until the end by the way. Anyway the guide sells it to a goat farmer who lets his young sons use it to kill the jackals that are eating his heard. One of the sons likes to watch his sister undress and she likes him to watch. Why do we need to know this? Again, anyway, one of the boys shoots at a bus and hits an American woman, Kate, in the neck. Her husband Brad has the bus go to the nearest hospital, which isn't a hospital, they sew up her neck and then she gets to smoke opium until help arrives, which it eventually does, by helicopter.
The American couple, Brad and Kate, which shall now be called Brate, have two young children in the states. They also have a Mexican nanny. Brad calls the nanny and tells her what happens and that she has to stay with the kids because they can't make it home right now. The nanny's son is getting married in Mexico and she can't find someone in the states to watch the little darlings, and they are cuties, so she takes them with her, to the wedding, to Mexico. On the way back from the wedding with her drunk nephew driving they get stopped at the border. The nephew freaks out and takes off, thru the desert. He then drops them off, in the middle of the desert and says he'll be back for them. So nanny and her charges wander thru the desert for a while, it all looks bad, but she finds help and they of course arrest her. The kids are found and she gets deported.
Then we have this whole thing with a deaf Japanese school girl. She is hopelessly unhappy and horny to boot. First she takes off her panties and flashes the boys. Then she licks the dentist, he gets mad and kicks her out of the office, then this police officer is trying to find her dad and she takes off all her clothes. He also turns down the offer. She then hangs around her balcony, naked, until her dad comes home. Her dad is being sought by the police so they can tell him about the gun.
Some other things we know but can't figure out why.
The Japanese man's wife killed herself with a gun. The deaf daughter tells the police she jumped off the balcony. Brate had a third child but it died of SIDS.
So what is this about? Never give your rifle to your hunting guide? Don't hire illegal aliens to watch your children while you leave the country? (and why, after loosing a child, would you leave your remaining children while you travel to a faraway country? Why?) Deaf Japanese school girls behave like Sharon Stone and try in vain to get laid?
I don't know. It's too much for me. You want to know the funny thing? BH liked it! Yes! He said it was deep. Deep? Ok. He is really not a movie person and cannot understand why anyone watches the same movie twice, let alone the many many times I will watch mine.
I've spent way to much time thinking about this movie.
That is all.

I like black bean soup...but it does look bad. That sounds like the most rambling movie ever. Cute pug picture!
I love black bean soap. I think you did a great job. Who cares what it looks like. What matters is what it tastes like.
The movie sounds alittle wierd to me.
The pug picture is really cute. I love pugs. They are so very cute.
ok- I will cross that Babel movie off my list... yikes!
Soup looks great to me! Makes me hungry!
Thanks for the heads up on the movie...sounds all very confusing. I think the last Brad Pitt movie I watched was Troy and I really liked it.
