Meet my brother Stan

I have been sadly neglecting my blog.

Of course I've been busy but mostly I'm just lazy.

I've got to catch up and I will but I had to share this crazy story.

It's kind of confusing. Even BH who knows all the people had trouble following it. You, who do not know any of the parties involved may be totally lost. And maybe a bit bored.

Here goes.

This is a true story.

My X has 5 kids in his family. He is the oldest. Next is his brother Stan. Then CO, then CH who does my hair, then CA. They are all 3-3 1/2 years apart. The first 4 kids are adopted, then my X inlaws had a natural child of their own (CA).

Stan is my age and we went to Jr High together. (it was called Jr High then, it's called middle school now for all you younguns) We went to High School together. We were very good friends all through school. I did not meet my X until after High School although I knew Stan had an older brother, I never saw him in school.

Then Stan and his wife and two sweet girls moved to Florida. Years and years ago, I forget how many. (Rockledge for anyone who cares) So anyway, Stan is adopted as I've said. He began searching for his bio family and found them!

Part II
I have a dear friend CH, also the name of my dear SIL. She owned a store that I worked in for a few years until she sold the shop. I discovered that her husband RO and I went to the same High School. At the same time, although he graduated 2/3 years after me. A few days ago my friend CH calls me and says "Guess what! We're related, sort of." It turns out that RO has a cousin (no surprise there) and that cousin is Stan's brother.

His name is Stan! The cousin and my BIL are both named Stan. The two brothers are named Stan.

It appears that Stan (my BIL) natural parents gave him up for adoption. A year and a half later they had another son. They named him Stan. And Stan (my BIL) found him!

Stan (my BIL) has flown in to see him and they will be meeting up this weekend. My friend and her hubby will also be meeting the Stan's.
