It's Library Day!

I hadn't been to the library in months.

Cuz I've been busy.

Just about everything I've read in the last month has been about the Real Estate exam. Of which I passed, but surely by the hair of my chiney chin chin. (no I do not have hair on my chin)

BH pulls into the library while we are out on errands. He loves the used book sale section. While he was cruising the 'Friends of the Library' I was trying to find some books that I've been meaning to read. Of course all the computer card catalogs were down, all of them, so I had to go to the sections I know best.

First stop, the cookbooks. I didn't find the ones I wanted, I'll have to order them but not today, all their comps are down.

Then I stopped by John Grisham row. I've read everything there.

Then my other fav, Steven King. OOOH Cell! I haven't read that one. I grabbed that.

Michael Crichton, nope, nothing new there.

BH is still not done so I cruise around some more. I find Ann Rule. Famous true crime writer extraordinare. This book is called 'Every Breath You Take'. I'll take that too.

So now I have not one but two very fine trashy books to read.

BH finds me with his newly bought treasures.

He gets:

Kon Tiki 6 men cross the pacific in a raft. Sounds interesting, I may read it.

Contact by Carl Sagan. I think he already has this but you can never have to much Carl Sagan.

The Road Ahead by Bill Gates. Why?

Alaska by Michener. I think I've read this.

Songs of a Distant Earth by Arthur C Clark. Needs no explanation.

Aliens by Alan Foster. I may peruse this and annoy BH with my comments.

Bridges of Madison County. The movie made me sad but I may read it anyway.

I felt the same way after watching Bridges of Madison County. You have a lot of the same tastes in books that Husband has.
