Miscellaneous crappe and not crappe

Who Says Vampires can't cook?
I do not get the whole Vampire obsession. I like all things a little bizarre but vampires have never done it for me. But I love aprons and Saucyfrocks has made these awesome adorable retro aprons. Go check it out!

I'm loving the Olympics! People, and by people I mean BH, that know me are a little perplexed by this. I. Am NOT an athletic supporter. Oh I enjoy the Storm games and look forward to going every year. But I've never watched a baseball game on the telly. Ever. Football? Don't get me started. Hockey? I was born in Canada, my cousins have all played, but I grew up in So Cal and have never seen a game. Soccer? I don't get it. But the winter Olympics? I am riveted. She who is asleep by 10 is now watching until way to late and waking up a tad grouchy. 'So how is it that you LOVE the Olympics?' he says. I had to think about that. I've just always watched them. Growing up my parents did not watch sports and we never played sports and well, sports were just not apart of my little ole life. But the Olympics were! You see, my daddy was training for the Olympics. While growing up in Germany my father built and raced boats. He WAS athletic growing up. But not team sports, exactly, Olympic type sports. The story told is that the event he was qualifying for was not in the Olympics that year. It was a boat rowing thing. I forget the name, 5 men rowing quickly. Whatever. So that is how I come to love the Olympics. Impressed?

We're do to have rain coming again today. Not like the horrid storm we had weeks ago. I'm defrosting some soup I made weeks ago. BH is a little sick of soup so he may fix hisself some eggs tonight.

I'm gonna work on my balls and listen to Melinda Lee today. Have I talked about my balls yet? Mercy! You know how you get a really good idea in your head. And then you start to pull it all together. And then you realize it's not as easy in real life as it was in your head. And then it gets to be an overwhelming project. And then it's taking way longer to finish then you could ever imagine. Yeah. It's kind of like that.

I'll keep you posted.
