Aussie Fairy has arrived

I'm in an international crafting group where ladies from all over the world create wonderful dolls, pincushions and stitcheries and we swap. This swap was called Fairy dolls. All manor of mythical dolly creations were acceptable. My swap partner lives in Australia and she made this truly amazing doll. FOR ME!!

The face: Hand painted. But what is amazing is the sculpting of the nose, lips and eyebrows. She gave her green eyes. Just like me!This little cuite came with her. It's an adorable little monkey. While unpacking her the little monkey must have fallen to the floor. To be discovered by a flat faced dog who hid it for 4 days. Look at those tiny fingers! They are all individually made, not sculpted, like the toes. See! She even has fingernail polish!

Sculpted feet! And painted toenails! Just like me! And a little I love you anklet.
