Let the ceremony begin

This was a lovely backyard. Really really nice. That is a little pond with a waterfall. You could hear the water gently flowing during the entire ceremony. The pond had an algae attack just days before the ceremony. They tried to clear it up and it looks better. Still a little muddy and smelled like bleach. Here we are, Aunt Connie and me. Just hanging around, in the shade, waiting. The seats are metal and as you'll notice, brown. Why yes they were hot! Quite hot. I'm not sitting in the front row in the sun.Grandpa W makes sure he's got a prime seat. Even if it is in the sun on a hot seat.Grandpa Jack and Lucy. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Here she comesI don't know why I took so many pictures of her descending the stairs. It was so pretty. And if she took a spill. . . . I'd be sure to get it on camera. Whew! Made it. Safe in her daddy's arms. The ceremony was beautiful. Warm but not so hot that you wilted. What's that? That purple thing under the wedding canopy? It's my mother. Taking photo's.I could not stop laughing, which was a bit distracting to those around me. It really isn't proper to giggle whilst the vows are being said.

The ring exchangeI now pronounce you. . . . You may kiss the brideMeet the newly formed partnership of Mr. and Mrs. (should I say the name?)!Grandpa W. Looking proud. I hope to be able to smile on at my grandchildrens weddings. The best man. (Thank God that's over!) Isn't he handsome my baby boy!
Who is that woman in the green dress with those jowls?
She stuck her finger in the cake frostin.
This little flower girls was so sweet. They threw silk petals down and then ran around and picked them up.Best man trying to look interested.Groom/bride talking to ?

John Boy, Groom (aka: The boy) Breezy, best man Michael C.Breezy and Michael C.

The bride's dress fit her so beautifully. I like seeing a lovely modest ensemble like that. She looks gorgeous. So many brides wear strapless get ups that just look too "prom" for me.
