EEE GADS!

So Frank and the boys are here.

It's a wonderful thing.

No, really, it is.

Except for one little thing.

Frank is spraying, or whatever it is you call it. He's not unloading, just marking his territory. Well my territory.

Frank has always been emotional. He cries. He whines. He's a huge baby. Always has been. The saying at our house was always 'It's about Frank, it's all about Frank'. Everybody knows it, as does Frank. Which has led to an unstable dog.

The Frankster needs an attitude adjustment.

When he came Sunday night we kenneled him so the boys could move their stuff in and out. The next morning, instead of spending time getting Frank acquainted with the place, youngest took off. Monday was a holiday and I was home, but I haven't lived with Frank in over 2 years, he doesn't know BH and he's only lived in one house all his little life. Frank was a basket case. He cried, he whined, he ran all over the house looking for something familiar. It broke my heart to see him so sad. He had no harness or leash.

Now Frank loves a good long car ride. So we hopped in the car and drove to Petsmart, where he got a brand new bright red harness and a leash. When we got home I pottied him outside and then we went for a walk around the neighborhood. No one ever walks him so I had to teach him how to behave on the leash. After about 1/2 hour he settled in for the walk and by the time we got back to the house he was tuckered out. I pottied him again and we played for a little while before I kenneled him. I took him out again around dinnertime and let him play for a little while then kenneled him again.
