NaBloPoMo and other stuff

NaBloPoMo is back again. Who's all doin it? Go here to sign up. I don't know if I'll be signing up but I am doing it and I'm planning on a theme. I'm very excited about it. I love themes and I'm working my touchie off on it. But don't worry, I still have plenty of touchie. More on that later, my theme that is.

And my move; not much to say about it at this time. We will be moving but we are staying in the city of LE.

A) We will be moving to a larger home

B) Two of my sons are moving in with me. (thus the need for a larger home)

C) When is still unknown.

The reason is there is a tenant in it now. The tenant will not be renewing their lease which expires 10/21/07. What this means is they will probably drag their feet and we'll end up moving over the holidays. Drag.

But the house, is beautiful. It's about 3 years old. Huge, like 3000 sf. Large kitchen. Large backyard. Tract home. No squirrels, bunnies or coyotes. I'll miss the views and the critters but I'll be happy to plant a garden unmolested by creatures.

Oh and the backyard. Is naked. No yard in the back. No nuthin. No sprinklers, no trees, no plants, no patio. Just a whole lot of dirt and rocks. So, money permitting, we'll be creating our own little oasis in the middle of the desert. Yippee! No really, I'm very excited about it, but the money. Well, we'll just do a little at a time. It'll be fine.

Want to see the front?

Cute? No, not really, just your typical California tract home.

I'm happy because my boys will be able to live with us. Their dad is getting married Dec. 8 so he wants them out by then.

It is going to be a crazy holiday season. We'll be settling into a new house. Adjusting to a blended family and trying to rent out our old houses, around Christmas, right. Oh well.

Oh and my arm. Is still the same. It bugs me from time to time, more so at night. I was able to see my oncologist last Friday. She ordered a temporary sleeve until I can see the physical therapist. I'm told they will get around to calling me. Someday.

Until then, hello pain pills!

Wow, I love your new house and how wonderful that your sons will move in with y'all. I haven't been by in so long and I have to catch up with what all is going on with you. I love the hibiscus picture with Tom.
