We did a lot this weekend. Saturday we went to the large swap meet in Costa Mesa or Newport Beach or where ever it is. BH got me a pair of Martini Sunglasses. I had a nice pair, not a top of the line pair but a nice pair of Maui Jims for years. They are polorized and I just loved them. Then one trip on the river with BH, remember that? When he dumped me in the river? And I lost my Maui Jims? Anyway, I never let him forget it and he feels bad about it so this weekend he was determined to replace my Maui Jims. This swap meet has a vendor of nice eyewear. Maui Jims, Martini and other big names. The guy totally sold me on the Martini's. The NASCAR and NHRA guys all wear them. (so that is way cool, yes?) The glasses are manufactured in the same plant as the Maui's, they have a huge assortment of styles and lense colors. They are every bit as wonderful as the Maui's. It's fabulous ladies, truly fabulous. So there you have it. I got new sunglasses. Thanks hunny!
Oh and I got a couple of tongs. The tongs I had were rusted and nasty, I got two sizes, they have this cool latch instead of the slide bar that pinches your hand. These are nice. And I got a silicone brush for butter or BBQ sauce. I can't wait to use that. My paint brush is getting gamey. And a scraper. This is way better than my old scaper and it's pretty.
And then I found this very cool cactus. My dad collects cactus and this was is called a Madagascar Palm.

BH worked in the library this weekend. We took all the junk that had been stashed in the library, because we don't use that room, and stored it all in the office, that we do use. So now we are skwooshed in the office with all our junk. But, it is awsome. He sanded and sanded all weekend, vacumed all the dust and even was able to finish one shelf. It is so so pretty. I can't wait to see it all finished. We need a library with all our books.
I worked on UFO's this weekend. That's UnFinished Objects in quilt speak. They are now FO's All I needed to do was finish the top stitching (machine) and put the binding on these. I needed to buy more fabric because even though I have the binding fabric somewhere, (it's in the barn and I'm having issues with the barn) it was just easier to buy more. And you can never have to much fabric.
And that's all folks.
This week I've got to get back into my studies. I finished my 2 required courses needed for my RE license and now I'm studing for my Brokers license. I've got 5 courses. I finished one already, Escrow's, now I'm into Financing. Ug boring. I put it down 2 weeks ago and I just can't pick it up again. I'm determined. One chapter a day. I can do it. Ug.
