How to diffuse an argument. . . .Him: You forgot to shut off the AC before you left this morning.
Me: No, you forgot, I left before you.
Him: No, you left before me, remember.
Me: Oh yeah, I think I did.
Him: Yes you did and you also forgot to shut your bathroom window which means we were cooling off the. . .
Me: (woot!)
Him: What was that?
Me: Excuse me.
Him: That's disgusting! Have you no shame?
Me: No shame, a little gas.
Him: No shit!
Me: No shit, just gas.
Him: Are you sure? You should check uh, gah!
Or clear a room, either way, very effective.
How to yank moms chain. . . .
Me: I'm getting my hair done this afternoon, I'll come over after my appointment.
Mom: Ok sure, we'll BBQ some steaks.
Me: Yum!
Mom: How long do you think it'll take?
Me: Well I don't know for sure, about an hour or so.
Mom: So what is she going to do exactly, how is she going to. . . you know. . .
Me: Mom! I have hair now!
Mom: I know dear.
Me: It's long enough to color and stuff.
Mom: No I was just saying. . .
Me: And you tried to say it so carefully.
Mom: Yes! Thanks for noticing.
Sometimes mom gets embarrassed by my hair. Or lack thereof. It's funny how she dances around it.
But I am getting my hair done today. I doubt any cutting will occur, but you never know. The color is awful right now so I'm happy to go and visit with my SIL and catch up on the family.

It was nice blogging with you. I am going to try "my space" that my oldest daughter is using to blog people. I will have her to help explain how this all works and how to put pictures on the computer. I think this might work better for me. We will see. You never know I might just like this better. Yes, we need to see your hairdo. I have been growing my hair long to give to locks of love and I am going to be getting it cut soon! I'll definitely show what they cut off.
