Happy Birthday to me!

Happy Birthday to me, I live in a tree, no wait. Nevermind.

I had a birthday yesterday. I didn't make a fuss over it and had really hoped to postpone it until I felt more like celebrating it.

It was a great day! I got birthday wishes from blogging and internet friends. My folks of course always call. BH's son (we share the same birthday) called to wish me a happy day. My brother, gee, my brother called me and sang me a birthday song. (I was in bed when he called) He sang The Beatles birthday song on my message. So funny!

My boys came by for a short visit and it was a sweet day for me.

I'm 30 + 17 for anyone that cares. Ü

So on to some fun stuff.

I'm getting hair!

See I told you I was getting hair!

Cute stuff huh?
The girls in radiology rubbed and rubbed it today. It is so soft, like a puppy.

And I went to visit my old house. I am getting the house in my divorce settlement. I needed to have it appraised today. While I was there I got to visit with my baby and dogs.

For some reason my X has Frosty in the living room. Why? Who knows these things? For years we had Christmas lawn ornaments. The first year we did candy canes, Santa and reindeer. Then we added elves and a sleigh. Oh and we had penguins. X built a little motorized track that they went round and round on.

Frank, bored with pictures.
Thanks Frank!
When we heard that a new Grinch that stole Christmas was coming out we decided to do that. We made a huge Grinch sleigh and little dog Max. We made Who's that sang in a circle (they replaced the penguins) Who houses and replaced the candy canes with those funky candlelabras they have in the book. To top it off we made an audio of the old Grinch that Stole Christmas tape and played it over and over from speakers in the garage.

After I left X sold the whole lot of them. Dang, I kind of wanted them.

But he kept Frosty.

Right on!

By the way we made them all! Cut them out of plywood and painted them. It was so much fun!
Meet KeeKee!
KeeKee's mom is the neighborhood slut. Sorry for all those that love cats but she was. She had litter after litter and was having them all over the neighborhood. In peoples shed's and garages. This litter she had in the garage. Four days after they were born she left them. There was four of them in the litter. By the time they figured out she wasn't coming back 3 had died. This one was bottle fed and is growing up to be a beautiful kitty.
She is quite a handful right now. Very playful. The boys call her evil because she will not stop biting and playing hard. She is very sweet and loving when sleepy. While she is awake she is a terror.
Bad KeeKee, bad.
