Oh I wish I had taken pics of the garden tea party.
Everything was just so pretty and festive. Little bird houses on the tables, cookies shaped like bunnies and roses. Not just cut like bunnies and roses but the stamped kind that leave an impression on the cookie (and me!)
There was all the typical tea food and of course tea.
I did get pics of my garden stash that I brought home.
Wanna see?
This is pretty much the whole thing all at once.

This is a delphinium. My dear friend planted packets and packets of these and when she went to transplant them they were so tender that many did not make it. I'm a sucker for a pathetic case. I took some home.

A bell pepper and a cherry tomatoe. I already know what will happen to these.
These are Holly Hocks. My friend grows the most awesome Holly Hocks. I 've tried to grow them before but even though they got huge they never did bloom for me. I'll try again.

I don't remember what this is.

These are Morning Glories. The one on the left is a dwarf morning glory. I've never seen one of those. The one on the right is the regular climb all over everything kind.

These are chocolate sunflower seeds. No I don't think they are chocolate flavored. I'm told that they will have beautiful burgundy flowers and black seeds. They look a little spindly. Hope they make it.

Now I'm excited about these. They are bulbs that came all the way from England. We know that the flower is white and that's about it. No name. We've called it the mystery bulb.

Do you see this? Do you? Know what it is?
It is three little pots that 'HAD' seeds in them until the birds discovered them.

Pretty flowers
Turtle report:
Turtles still sleeping. I think. I guess I should check on them. It's warming up and they should be stirring. We have several warm days followed by cold ones. I think I'm waiting until the nights are not quite so chilly.
