Stolen cars can show up again!

Well this has been the most exciting (in a good news/bad news way) week.

My family drama is continuing to be dramatic. I am still far to upset to talk about it without screaming. I've screamed a lot this week.

But I have to tell you.

A few weeks ago, maybe a month ago my middle son got his car stolen from right in front of his house. Right in front! It's a little red Honda CRX I think, cute little car that everybody wants to steal. Everyone from cops to insurance agents will agree with this. We are not far from the Mexican border and typically cars make their little way down there (with the help of an unauthorized driver) and get stripped or whatever it is they do with it down there. They seldom make their way back home again and if they do, well, you sort of wished they'd died somewhere else.

So Thursday Middle calls and says the police found it. Found it! You'll never guess where, of course you wouldn't but WE are all quite shocked.

It was found in Wildomar! (pronounced will-doe-mar) I know you don't know where Wildomar is, people in Wildomar sometimes don't know where Wildomar is. And if you live in Lake Elsinore you sometimes think you're in Lake Elsinore when you're really in Wildomar. All of that is to say that Wildomar is a border sub city minutes from where the car was stolen. For weeks the theives were driving around right under our noses!

Here's the great part. It does not appear at this time that they touched the engine. Of course they poped the ignition but everything else appears intact. They even put in a new stereo, which was very nice of them, if it works. It was found on the side of the road out of gas. We won't know the extent of the damage until they start to work on it.

Then I find out that my X's truck was stolen last Sunday. Nice Toyota Tacoma truck from the driveway. It's a quiet cul-de-sac, nice neighborhood where everyone watches out for one another. He loves that truck and I hope he is just as lucky as Middle was.

Ok guys, that's all for now. I'm off to a little romantic retreat with BH.

Oh and I switched over to the new blogger and all seems to be well.
