I am Thankful for the rain!
We had a wonderfully cool weekend. Last night it rained and this morning everything is wet and clean and cool.
It makes me want to stay home and drink tea and make cookies.
My tree is almost finished. I've been making ornaments all weekend. All I need is a tree skirt. Maybe a different garland. I sometimes make a popcorn garland because I love the look of it. But I tend to get popcorn all over and I don't want to vacuum. If I can't find a nice garland soon I may make it. Last year I saw the cutest garland made with pretzels and looped with colored construction paper. I need more color on the tree, like, maybe some poinsettia flowers.
I'll cruise Wally World this week and see if I can't find something. I need new placemats for the table and towels for the bathrooms too.

A tree! Our neighbors had theirs up the day after Thanksgiving. I don't think we will have anything up at our house though...
