I went to the doctor today. You know, THE DOCTOR. The yearly stuff. She is just so nice and makes things so pleasant that I hate to complain about it. I won't say I enjoyed the visit but it wasn't so bad and I'm glad I got it out of the way. Now I need to go to the breast center to check on the lumpy stuff, I take my bloodwork tomorrow and I'll be set for the year. Woohoo.
Day 9
I think I'm going to quit the patch. I crave smoking every dang day so I don't know how helpful it is. I've decided I've come this far so I'm not going back.
I did get chocolate yesterday. I was moaning to our maintenance man about how I wanted chocolate. While out on his errands he picked up this huge 1/2 pound Hershey with almonds. I love him. It's gone now.
I got this off of Owned by Pugs and thought it was such a cute story. If you didn't read it there you can read it here.
PELHAM, N.Y. -- A pink-and-white gardening glove has gone missing from another porch in Pelham, N.Y. But there was no mystery about who took it. Willy, the cat who loves gloves, has struck again. The feline felon has carried off at least two dozen gardening gloves since April. The gloves are on a clothesline that's strung across the front fence at Willy's home, which he shares with Jennifer and Dan Pifer. Above the line is a sign that says "Our cat is a glove snatcher. Please take these if yours."
Nine pairs of gardening gloves and five singles are strung up.
Jennifer Pifer said Willie brings the gloves home, proud as can be, and leaves them on the front porch as a gift. She figures "it's better than if he was bringing home dead birds."
In winter, Willy doesn't become a mitten kitten. His off-season prey is dirty socks, which he carries off from the family's laundry room.

My little Maya Bee is much like that cat. She just loves socks and undies. Where ever she finds them she will drag them under the bed. When I would do laundry I have to clean out her stash under the bed. Then when I was folding the whites she would be on the bed dragging off as many whites as she can.
