Show and Tell Thursdays++++KEYS

I got this over at Ragus Pug who got it from Blackbirds (must read, pretty funny stuff there) and I thought it was the funnest thing. Not that I've run out of things to post but a boring break from my usual boring stuff.

Here goes.

These are my keys minus my new car keys and mail box key. It is an annoying bunch of keys. They weigh a ton actually they weigh 1 pound. I would like everyone to know that this particular excersize took up a good portion of my work morning. I had to photograph the keys, arrange the keys, photo them again, rearrange the keys, photo again.

The Hawaiian key chain came from a dear friend of mine when she went on her 3rd or 4th visit to Hawaii. I have never been to Hawaii. This is a constant reminder that I will in fact go to Hawaii some day.

I keep my work keys here, one for the front door and one for my office. Also my gym membership card.

These are my all other keys. From top to bottom counter clockwise are my Mazda key (the car my middle son now drives, I still have a spare because he is my middle son and famous for misplacing things) Then is the key to my Big Hunks house, then the key to my parents house, then the key to my apartment garage, the loose key is the key to my apartment. It is separated now for a good reason, more on that later.

These are the keys to my Toyota Camry that I just got. The clip keeps my car keys attached to the main body of keys. The entire ring is so heavy that I don't really want to hang it off my ignigion.

Now I know ya-all want to know what this thing is.

I have no idea what it is called. It is a 5 1/2 long 11oz piece of metal, maybe steel, probebly steel. And what you do is tuck that thing somewhere, I hang it down the back of my jeans , with the keys exposed and if someone bothers you, I mean really bothers you, you grab your keys and swing this thing at them. I don't care where it hits it's gonna hurt. My Big Hunk got it for me cause he loves me and worries so about my safety.

Last but not least. . .

My mail box key. I keep it in the car because the mail box is on the street therefore I will never need to carry the darn thing with me. I do plan on getting a nicer key chain for it but for now this will do. I also have a lighter there because although this car came with a ciggy lighter it does not push in correctly. I have to hold it and then I don't know how long I'm to hold it in and then I am annoyed and driving which is never a good combination especially for the drivers around me.

Ok I am now done with all my keys and while this has been fun it has taken me way to long to finish.

Glad you joined in on the Show and Tell!! That's a lot of keys you have there. You did go through a lot of work to show all those keys. What color is your Camry? I have a grey one I got in 2004. It's such a nice car. I need to clean mine really bad.

My Camry is a blue/grey a tad on the dark side. I'll take pictures soon and post. I love this car. How do I keep my console clean? Piece of cake. I just bought it and it came that way. Give me a few weeks. It'll be trashy in no time.
