Show and Tell: My favorite rock

A little pug farmer for you.

Potato Rock
This comes from Canada.

This has a very interesting story. You see there was this farmer, (no, no joke here, real story) and he farmed potatos. And there was a law in the land, sort of a religious law, I forget what this is called at the moment but he was to give his land a rest for a year. He, the farmer, was a greedy man and didn't want to rest his land for a year so God turned all his potatos into rocks. Now it is this huge field that has never been farmed again. It's kind of a touristy thing and people now come to the potato field and harvest the potato rocks.

This is what my auntie tells me and I for one believe her. Why would she lie?

I've kept this rock for many, many years.

Now I know I am a day behind on show and tell but I have looked over everybodys blogs and I see no other rocks. Even Blackbird didn't show and tell a rock. What up people?

Now I have plenty to share, plenty. Part 2 and 3 of my Vegas vacation, my La Jolla eye doctor trip. You know, stuff. So I certainly expect to see more show and tell.

Hey Priscilla, show and tell is on Thursday...she usually post the subject on Tuesday. When I saw your rock, I was amazed at how much it looked like a potato. Neat story, too. I love the pictures from Las Vega. I've never been there but think it would be a neat place to see.
